one of the best things in life is seeing someone you love open a gift you bought them. its my favorite part of the holiday season. of course decorating and hot chocolate are up there too, but putting a lot of thought into what someone would appreciate and seeing the reaction you hoped for is truly rewarding. lately i've been trying to shop more sustainably, which means a lot of thrifting and vintage shopping, so you'll find some options from places like poshmark and the real real mixed into this year's wishlist.

F O R H E R . . .
a few staple pieces are alway a safe bet when opting for clothing, and the internet is loving the zara bodysuit that Rosie Huntington-Whiteley made famous. it's such a great basic to have in your wardrobe for everyday, work, even a night out. this bodysuit is so versatile and very comfortable. i have one in nude and wear it all the time; more recently for layering.
what woman doesn't love a good cashmere sweater to stay warm and cosy during the winter months to come.
for the fashion lover, this clutch from West 22 is stunning and perfect for everyday or evening. for a similar option with a little more 'flare,' i just purchased and recommend this one from Jessica Burman.
a great stocking stuffer option for a friend or sister: an instax printer. i've seen some pretty pricey ones but i bought this one from Amazon and it's perfect.
my favorite gift to get and give is a really cosy cashmere robe. there are so many options out there, but i'm definitely partial to the UGG cashmere robe; i've had it for a year now, and its the softest, warmest + easiest item to grab on a cold day.
la mer moisturizer, because it's the best.. unless you know of another skincare product your mom, friend, family member swears by...
definitely pricey, but this le labo candle is to die for. it's a concrete candle candle holder with a unisex scent that burns forever and smells incredible. the sandal 33 scent has been made famous by the St, Kitts hotel, Park Hyatt and has since been copied by other hotels including the 1 Hotel in Williamsburg.
a spa day is always a really thoughtful gift. the women in our lives work hard and should be appreciated with a little R+R from time to time. check out places local to her and book something, or ask for a gift card or package offer.
for the home decor junkie, check out the real real's home section. they have everything from vases, to candleholders, plates and decorative bowls. you can sort by designer or item, or just browse the pages. i've had my eye on these waterford candlestick holders (now on sale) for a while; they are perfect for hosting.
and lastly, a simple piece of jewelry is always a great idea for any woman, and any age. i'm eyeing this cartier necklace...

F O R H I M . . .
anyone who works out or tends to have stiff muscles will absolutely love and appreciate a theragun. robb used one at my company's hampton house this past summer and he basically refused to share it with anyone once he had his hands on it. i have to say, this machine really does work wonders and it comes with different end options depending on which muscle group you want to target. you can check out a few different ones at Best Buy.
also, white sneakers are clean and easy to wear with anything your guy has. Greats Royale sneaker is handmade in italy and so comfortable (they have them for women too*wink).
if you have a slightly bougie man in your life, and want to splurge on him, Louboutin makes a beautiful men's loafer. for a more eccentric option, definitely check out the spiked collection, but i do love a good minimalistic hugh-hefner-style suede shoe on a man.
every man over the age of 21 should definitely own a well-fitted wool jacket. like it actually does not matter what they wear under it, they still look handsome af, and put together with just this one item. i'm loving this grey Theory jacket from Bloomingdales, or this and this from Zara as a more affordable option.
a vintage watch from the real real... i've been checking the site daily for what's available. seriously there are so many options that are more affordable than a new watch. plus an older model is unique, and offers a little more character. the brands i prefer for a mature man are Rolex, Breitling, and Piaget. but there are all different designers from Cartier to Louis Erard.
robb got the new apple AirPods for christmas and they are so much better than the originals. highly recommend if you use headphones a lot or prefer taking phone calls without having to hold your phone...
and on that note, there are a slew of magnetic wireless chargers out there that charge all apple devices in one. we bought this one from Belkin and it's so convenient!
for my dad, well he loves the louis vuitton wallets for men but since his is still in great shape (they last forever!) he's getting some Mason Pearson hair brushes. i remember him buying these at bloomingdales when we were little, but again, a lavish gift for a man.
EVERYONE ELSE..
any travel junkie will appreciate this coffee table book by Nat Geo, on the 'Destinations of a Lifetime.' i've skimmed through it a few times, it deinfelty ignites inspiration.
tickets to an event, whether it's a broadway play, comedy show or sports game... something you think you can enjoy together.
a meal delivery service like hello fresh for someone who loves to eat well but maybe doesn't have the time.. my brother just got this for my parents and they really love it!
Be sure to also check out our must haves from Amazon here!
happy holidays! and don't forget to get a little something for yourself too...
